We’re already a week into December, and the festive season is well and truly upon is. With Christmas just around the corner, you’re probably more than ready for the bountiful amounts of food, family and of course presents! But what if you’re lacking a bit of festive cheer this year? Let Gentle Grip give you a few ideas to get you in the festive mood…

Create a Christmas playlist

If the first few bell chimes of, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’, don’t get you feeling warm and fuzzy inside then what will?! Now we’re in December, don’t listen to the Scrooges who insist the music cannot be played till closer to Christmas Day, create your own list of festive classics, and await memories of Christmas’ gone by to begin flooding back to you.

Indulge in a spot of shopping

Whether you need a treat yourself or have your loved ones in mind, shopping can be a real mood lightener at this time of year. If you’re a bit stressed about getting ready for Christmas too, get online or hit the High Street to kick-off your festive spending! It’ll all be worth it come the big day when your family or friends get something to make them smile.

Throw on a festive film

Christmas films are among the best activities to do during the season. The weather’s freezing outside, you’ve done all your shopping (your bank balance can back you up there), so, what better than to get cosy and stick ‘Home Alone’ on? Sit back and relax in a wave of festive nostalgia, and while you’re at it, why don’t you don your cheesy Christmas jumper for good measure too!
