Now summer is fading into the distant past, our attentions turn to Autumn, and the many changes that come with the changing of seasons. One of these changes is the switching of fashion, jumpers and comfy coats come back into your wardrobe, while the flip flops become consigned to the history books, till next year. But your feet are one of the most important body parts to look after during the colder months of the year, here are a few of our top ways to look after your feet this Autumn.

Solid shoes for all weathers

The warmer weather can see big boots or robust loafers be shunned during summer, but for the colder times of the year, as we slip towards winter, well insulated shoes are a must. Beige boots are a strong look and will provide you with that additional comfort if you’re on the move during your daily lifestyle.

Keep warm and dry!

It sounds silly to say but with the unpredictable weather, even in October we can have temperatures high in the teens, with blazing sunshine one day, before waking up to a freezing frost the next morning. Bearing that in mind, it is important to prepare for any occasions, ensure shoes are water tight and resistant, or that you carry around a spare pair of socks to keep your feet dry and fresh throughout the day.

Treat yourself

There’s nothing worse than returning to your favourite pair of comfortable shoes in September or October…only to find they’re finished! Don’t put up with rips or tears, instead make a purchase and a fresh pair of shoes will keep your feet going throughout the season.
